2020 Leadership Skills: Leadership as an Action, Not a Position

Add to calendar

For many, the concept of leadership includes many techniques and habits that would otherwise qualify as traditional management. But the world is changing rapidly. We have a generation of people coming into the market and workplace who simply do not respond to the same techniques employed even 10 to 15 years ago. If a company truly wants to display agility and either adjust or maintain it's culture, it needs to have 2020 Leadership Skills, not 1994 Leadership Skills. As part of a number of workshop style interactive exercises, attendees will experience the application of modern leadership techniques that can be applied immediately after the session conclusion. These exercises include concepts such as learning communication styles, understanding cultural nuances, skillfully asking questions, grooming and mentoring future leaders & developing great listening skills. Each exercise is designed specifically with the concept of maintaining or improving on cultural agility in a modern workplace. Sessions are designed to be fun, humorous, interactive and yet powerfully applicable.
